DAYTONA USA, "The Ultimate Motorsports Attraction" just outside Daytona International Speedway’s fourth turn, offers a combination of high-tech, hands-on excitement and a fascinating historical perspective that’s perfect for all ages. Guests can change tires in a timed pit stop competition, design and video-test their own race cars, broadcast a famous race finish and much more. "The Daytona 500" feature film presentation, starring some of NASCAR’s finest drivers, puts guests in the driver’s seat in a side-by-side race to the finish. DAYTONA USA is also home of the 4th Turn Grill, the Pit Shop souvenir and apparel store and the Sega Speedway electronic entertainment center. Speedway Tours, scheduled daily (weather and race schedule permitting), provide guests with an exciting and informative 30-minute tram excursion. DAYTONA USA is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with extended hours during race periods.

The Daytona International Speedway, the World Center of Racing, offers a variety of racing events throughout the year. Several of the more celebrated events are as follows:

Speed Weeks

Several racing events are scheduled in February, including the Busch Clash and the Rolex 24, culminating with the Daytona 500 NASCAR Winston Cup.

Bike Week

Supercross, Amateur Motor Cross, Amateur and Professional Road Racing, and Vintage Motorcycle races are all part of the first week in March.

Independence Days

The main event over the July 4th holiday, is the Pepsi 400, a NASCAR Winston Cup Series Stock Car Race. The Chamber, Daytona Beach / Halifax Area sponsors RaceFest, a public salute to NASCAR and drivers in the sport, during this summertime period. Thousands of fans meet NASCAR drivers, view show cars and have fun during RaceFest.

Auto Shows

The Daytona Beach Racing and Recreational / Facilities District sanctions two major infield shows each year.

  • During the week of Thanksgiving, street rods and muscle cars compete in the Turkey Rod Run.

  • In late May the Daytona Beach Classic Car Speedway Spectacular features antiques, classics, sports cars and vintage race cars.
