A 4-year,
career oriented liberal arts institution of higher learning founded by one
of America’s most outstanding citizens, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. One of the 49 institutions licensed by the State Board of
Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida. It is also one of the 12 black colleges of The United Methodist
Church and is listed among the colleges that participate in the United
Negro College Fund. A
four-year institution, the college has five academic divisions (business
education, humanities, science and mathematics and social services) and
