Halifax
Medical Center
Halifax Medical Center is the hub of the region’s fully integrated
health care system and is the largest medical center on Central
Florida’s East Coast. Its
expanded services, state-of-the-art technology, and highly trained
personnel enable it to provide patients with the very latest in
treatment options. The main
hospital features: the only Level 2 Trauma Center on the coast between
Jacksonville and Melbourne; the only Neonatal Intensive Care and
Inpatient Pediatric Unit in the area; and the nationally recognized
Regional Oncology Center for cancer care.
Halifax Medical Center is committed to the health of
our community. Satellite
facilities in Port Orange, Ormond Beach, and previously under served
areas have made quality health care more accessible for a greater number
of people. A variety of
educational programs, health screenings, and support groups are offered
free to the public, and public memberships are available in the
facility’s medically supervised Health Fitness Center.
