Voter Registration Volusia County 254-4690 Residents of Volusia County are urged to become registered voters. To be eligible to register to vote in Florida, a person must be at least 18 years of age, a United States citizen, a resident of Florida, in possession of his/her voting rights (not having had them taken away by a court of law). Residents may register to vote by completing a Florida Voter Registration Application and mailing it to the Volusia County Department of Elections, PO Box 1467, DeLand, FL 32721. Application forms are available at all Volusia County Libraries, all local Chambers of Commerce, and most banks and financial institutions. Residents also may register to vote at the same time they apply for their Florida driver's license, through the State Division of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
