Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) recently hosted its annual leadership conference, bringing together 85 store managers, strategic doers, senior team members, and the board of directors, for two days of training. The summit focused on building strong leaders who can manage any situation.
As one of Central Florida’s largest nonprofits, Goodwill employs more than 1,400 people across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Volusia and Brevard counties. The organization collects and sells donated merchandise, diverting nearly 24 million pounds of clothing and household goods from local landfills. GICF directly channels 90% of its annual revenue into programs that enable people to secure meaningful employment, achieve personal goals and thrive economically.
