On Monday, Feb. 3, Bethune-Cookman University partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to open Mother Mary’s Market.
With one in eight Central Floridians at risk of experiencing hunger, the pantry aims to increase student access to nutritious food.
Funding for Mother Mary’s Market was provided by Publix Charities, Darden, Boeing and Pepsi.
